On May 14, KOMIB Director General D. Grigoriev took part in the session "International Information Security: Russia – Islamic World" within the framework of the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: Kazanforum". The session was organized by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Solar Group of Companies.
The discussion was attended by: Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International cooperation in the field of information security, Director of the Department of International Information Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia A.R. Lyukmanov, Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan A.R. Khairullin, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the National Police of Indonesia Brigadier General Aji Dodied Prasetyo, General Secretary of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia Sarybai K.S. (Kazakhstan), representatives of the SVR and NCC, as well as leading domestic and foreign companies operating in the information security market. The discussion was moderated by the President of NAIIS, B. Miroshnikov.

During the open dialogue, the participants discussed a wide range of issues in the field of information and communication technology security. The discussion focused on the exchange of experience with the countries of the Islamic world on improving information security measures at the international level. The participants formulated recommendations on improving the effectiveness and unlocking the potential of international cooperation with the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
In his speech, D. Grigoriev analyzed the current situation in the technological provision of information security in sovereign countries following an independent path of development based on traditional values. Highlighting Russia's unique experience in ensuring information security acquired over the past few years, D. Grigoriev outlined the key formats and areas of cooperation between Russian information security companies and foreign partners.
