The participants of the events discussed topical issues of the international and Russian-African agenda in the field of information and communication technology security. One of the tasks outlined, which was clearly voiced during all the meetings, is the need to move away from global mechanisms that ensure the technological dominance of Western countries.

The KOMIB delegation participated in a thematic round table, and also held a number of bilateral meetings with African partners, developing previously established contacts.

During the bilateral meetings, Dmitry Grigoriev stressed that trust, predictability and reliability are the basic tenets for building long–term partnerships between Russia and its African partners. The credibility of Russia as a reliable political partner extends to the field of information security. Russian companies are ready to share their expertise on capacity-building, resource development, skills and strategies necessary to strengthen the security of the African continent's states during their digital transformation.
