The academic advanced training course "Foreign Economic Activity of IT Companies" was developed by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the participation of experts from KOMIB to facilitate the work of digital attaches at Russian embassies abroad.

The ceremonial launch of the program took place in the assembly hall of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia on February 6. The course has started with a lecture on "Russian Information Technology Exports in a Changing World," with Vasily Shpak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as a speaker.

In his speech, the Deputy Minister drew attention to the emerging change in the world order: from globalization to macro–regions, each with a global power at its center. The first step towards this transformation is to change the system of spiritual and moral values, which will become the basis for shaping the future of the macro-region.

The Institute of Digital Attaches is the primary link in the chain of interaction between Russian IT companies and local partners abroad. This is the reason for such attention to their activities from the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as relevant structures dealing with PPP issues.

KOMIB expert Ekaterina Mikhailova, PhD in Political Sciences, has delivered a series of lectures on the impact of modern information technologies on international relations, as well as the role of public-private partnership mechanisms in the process of interaction with friendly countries on the export of Russian high-tech solutions.
