On October 7, Director General of KOMIB D.I. Grigoriev held a panel discussion "The International aspect of Information Security: export potential" within the framework of the CYBERTECH 2024 cybersecurity Forum organized by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation at the Innovative Scientific and Technological Center of Lomonosov Moscow State University «Vorobyovy Gory».
The discussion was attended by Executive Director of KOMIB A.A. Kulpin, Director of the Department of International Information Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on international cooperation in the field of information security A.R. Lyukmanov; Director for Strategic Alliances and interaction with public authorities of "Garda" P.V. Kuznetsov; Managing Director of Positive Technologies JSC I.Yu. Alekseev; partner Cyberus O.V. Slepov.
The participants have discussed the state and priorities in the field of formation of the International Information Security system in the current geopolitical realities; current problems and promising areas of cooperation on information security with the countries of Asia, Africa, Latin America; issues of international cooperation on strengthening the digital sovereignty of friendly countries as the basis for the formation of a fair system of International Information Security; priority areas for the development of the export potential of Russian information technology companies in the markets of friendly countries, as well as issues of improving the effectiveness of public-private partnership in the implementation of state policy in the field of IIS.
Representatives of KOMIB have stressed the need to develop an integrated approach to the extension of export potential with the participation of all interested Russian information technology companies based on the acquired trust in Russia as a reliable political partner. According to experts, promising areas of foreign economic activity in the field of information security are the formation of a trusted system for the development, implementation and maintenance of information security products and services that ensure the sovereignty of friendly countries in the information space based on the export of competencies and a "technology franchise".
