On October 31 this year, KOMIB took part in the strategic session "Energy Diplomacy and Geopolitics in the era of Digital Transformation" within the framework of the III International Scientific and practical conference "Digital International Relations 2024" organized by the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the V.P. Ivannikov Institute of System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

During the conference, leading Russian experts – representatives of relevant government departments, large industrial companies and the academic community – discussed the digitalization of international relations, current trends in the development of the data economy and digital law, as well as issues of developing new solutions to help strengthen technological sovereignty and development of the Russian Federation.

KOMIB CEO D. Grigoriev, in his report "Corporate Security and digital Transformation: features of protecting IT infrastructure under sanctions pressure," among other things, drew attention to the fact that government decisions on import substitution of information security technologies and systems have multiplied the demand for domestic information security products, which does not contribute to price and product competition in the domestic market the market. D. Grigoriev noted that the decisions taken over the past year at the level of the Security Council of the Russian Federation to stimulate the export of Russian information security technologies to the markets of friendly countries, where domestic manufacturers will compete with leading foreign players by developing their product line and services, look like a promising strategy for the qualitative development of the domestic information security industry.
